Tips and Tricks (expert only)

Here's some tips :

Fixlog trans.log ( for corrupt trans.log only )

Grind /date yyyymmdd
Grind /date 20070112 ( to grind manually from CMD.EXE)
Grind /date 20070112 /mergetranslogs trans1.log trans2.log ( to grind merging two trans.log into one trans.log - for emergencies only )

eodgrind, ok ==> do not delete
eod => delete, if the grind being waiting or halted

The types :
1 - Payment
4,31,52,63 - total
5 - Comps
6 - Promo
43 - Check
49 - Bill/guest
63 - Tax
71 - Void

If you have to install from zero and have the transaction running do this :
backup the newdata and data, and check the dates and restore'em (99%) and 1 % must input manually again.
